Hi to all! So far the Millerton Market is great!!! We enjoy being there every Saturday morning. It is a pleasure to talk with everyone and to see all of the different dog breeds that come by for a visit. Please be patient with me as I do have a full time job, so my updates will probably not be very consistent. My daughter Amanda is a big help to me, she is my Sous Baker and does a fine job in and out of the kitchen. I don’t think I would be able to do this without her. Thank you to all who come by and enjoy what I bring to the Market, I have always enjoyed making people happy with my baking.
The Millerton Market
We have been accepted as a vendor at the Millerton Farmer’s Market. Our first weekend brought Lemon Bars, Scottish Shortbread, Toasted Coconut Custard Pie, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies and Olvie Oil Muffins. I felt it was a success!!!
We have just completed our second outing at the Market. This week included Lemon Bars (a big hit again!), Zucchini Bread with a hint of Ginger, Lemon Cream Cheese Cookies with Craisins, Carrot Cake Muffins (with Cream Cheese Frosting, of course) and Amish Brown Sugar Pie. We were sold out this week, a pleasant surprise!!!
